Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 5, 2026
Aceit Digital Inc. ("Aceit Digital", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect personal information through aceitdigital.ca and in our dealings with clients and prospective clients. We follow the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, where it applies, Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).
Accountability
We are responsible for the personal information under our control. Our Privacy Officer oversees our compliance with this policy and can be reached at support@aceitdigital.com or (403) 912-5726.
What we collect
We only collect what we need:
- Contact details you give us, such as your name, job title, organization, work email and phone number.
- Information about your requirement, such as the service you need, timelines, budget range and any documents you send us (for example, a statement of work or RFP).
- Booking details when you schedule a discovery call through our Google Calendar booking page.
- Basic website usage data, such as pages visited and device type, collected through analytics tools to help us improve the site.
We do not ask for sensitive personal information through this website. Please do not include it in forms or emails.
Why we collect it
We use your personal information to:
- Respond to your inquiry or quote request.
- Schedule and hold discovery calls.
- Prepare proposals and deliver the services you engage us for.
- Keep business and contract records as required by law.
- Improve our website and services.
We will not use your information for any other purpose without your consent, unless the law requires or permits it.
Consent
By submitting a form, booking a call or emailing us, you consent to our use of your information for the purposes above. You may withdraw consent at any time by emailing support@aceitdigital.com, subject to legal or contractual limits. If you withdraw consent, we may not be able to provide some services.
Limiting use, disclosure and retention
We never sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run our business, and only as needed:
- Website hosting and database providers
- Email, calendar booking and website analytics providers
These providers must protect your information and may only use it to provide their services to us. Some of them store or process data outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be accessed by authorities under local law.
We keep inquiry and quote information for up to 2 years, or longer if we enter into a business relationship or the law requires it. After that, we securely delete or anonymize it.
Accuracy
We rely on you to give us accurate information. You may ask us to correct it at any time.
Safeguards
We protect personal information with measures suited to its sensitivity, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted access to our systems, strong passwords and multi-factor authentication. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada if a breach creates a real risk of significant harm.
Cookies and browser storage
Our website uses a small amount of browser storage to save your progress on the quote form so you can return to it later. This stays on your device. Analytics tools may use cookies to measure site visits. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.
Your right to access
You may ask what personal information we hold about you, how we use it and who we have shared it with, request a copy, or ask us to delete it, except where we must keep it for legal, contractual or security reasons. Email support@aceitdigital.com. We will respond within 30 days.
We do not use automated decision-making or profiling with your personal information.
Questions and complaints
If you have a question or concern, contact our Privacy Officer at support@aceitdigital.com. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca) or the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta (oipc.ab.ca).
